Happy New Year folks. Looks like this sorry saga is almost at an end.
I visited MG Kirkintilloch just before Christmas, and after scaring the receptionist (words like "subject to legal action", lawyers, ongoing complaint) I managed to get the branch manager to agree to giving him a list of everything I want out of my car, subject to the head tech agreeing to remove them, because my car is still in quarantine... although it was intimated that they're awaiting new battery parts to arrive, so maybe they're intending to get it back up and running... so keep an eye out for that if you see it on a forecourt somewhere.
With all the offices heading back today, I also recieved another email from the lawyers...
So the legal wranglings are finally done, it's now directly between AC and myself to hammer out the final details... I'm expecting an opening offer of some air fresheners, and maybe a branded shopping bag, like they threw in right at the start
Thanks to everyone who posted advice and help all the way through, and the support you've all shown. It's taken a long time, but it's been better than rolling over to them right at the start.
