We went up to auckland yesterday 120 kms away in my 2023 phev. On the way back the engine fault light came on. As it was yellow I kept going to home and went to the dealer this morning to have it checked. They tested it and found the O2 sensor was faulty.. Exactly the same as what happened one year ago but the AA breakdown service cleared the error codes so I could drive home. This time MG could see the error codes and found the fault and it was the O2 sensor, Its being replaced under warranty once they get the part and I'm still able to drive it around now.
