Ohme Pro and Intelligent Octopus Go.

Awaiting impending delivery of MG4 and also in the process of switching to intelligent Octopus Go tariff from fixed rate.

I have an Ohme Pro charger but how do I schedule it to charge between 11.30pm and 5.30am to get the cheap 7p per Kw rate? is this done through the car, octopus app or the Ohme app or another way?

Any advice appreciated so that I'm set up to go once the car arrives.

I don't set any scheduling, car or charger, I use IOG smart charge where you just request nn% by HH time in the octopus app and let it get on with it.

You don't.
Just plug in and select how much % you want to ADD and by what time.

So what if I plug in at 6pm, in bed by 10.30pm but I don't want the charge to start till 11.30pm?

Ohme & Octopus decide when to charge car after you set up smart charging adding the % & time the next day you need the car.

The only catch if you have solar PV is it can consume the export. As I get 15p per unit for export vs buying at 7p off peak that is not a good idea. So I set it up & press the pause icon till sunset.

Cheap rate of 7p per Kw as opposed to 29p (or similar) after 11.30pm

You get the 7p rate whenever IOG charges, day or night (that's the "intelligent" bit). The fixed period is just a guaranteed period of the low rate. You will often get the 7p during the day if the car is plugged in ready to charge.
