Why is "One pedal operation" not available on my MG4 EV Trophy when it has just been charged? Brings up message "Not available low charge" clearly there is plenty of charge.

Because OPD relies on regenerative braking, and on full charge there is no regenerative braking. Regenerative braking is only available when you get down to 97% charge.

“Not available low charge” is a confusing message though, I’m guessing something got garbled in translation there, similar to the car saying “please plug in charger” in the charging screen no matter what charge you’re at.

But @MG Clive is spot on. The car will also flash a warning if you charge to 100% about regenerative braking being disabled temporarily.

True, but OPD needs you to go a bit lower. I can't start using mine until about 93%

OPD may only become available at 80% or 93%, I don't know, but the regen braking is available much sooner than that.

80% is a lot different to my car, difference between LFP and NMC perhaps?
But I'd think if there is a difference, the NMC would start earlier than the LFP
