I'm approaching one year with the MG4 SE LR. Mileage is 6,200 and the first service is due. The car has been trouble-free. In the summer, I get 5.4m/KwH driving my wife to work and back, a trip of 9 miles taking me over the Portsdown Hill. Total range in summer around 280 miles, and about 220 in winter over mixed routes from a 60KwH usable capacity battery. I usually restrict my speed to 65 mph on motorways both because of increased range and I find it less tiring.
The forward visibility is superb, brake feel and accelerator response are excellent. I don't use any driver aids apart from leaving the Automatic Emergency Brake set to low sensitivity, just in case a kid runs out in front of me etc. I've not had any false triggers. Apart from the extra width it is the easiest car to drive that I've owned.
I can adjust fan speed and temp with buttons on the steering wheel, but need to go into the menus if I want to change the exterior vent openings and direction (windscreen, cabin, feet). I've not found the lack of a rear wiper to be a problem. A reversing camera would be handy for tight spots. The lack of passenger grab handles is an issue for elderly or disabled passengers who use them to help exit.
I've not had any problems charging either in the house or on the road. So no regrets and I wouldn't go back to an ICE car.
