Overspeed Alert MG ZS EV

When driving on the motorway, on the dashboard it shows 70mph limit but sometimes it detects a slipway at 50mph for example and the overspeed alert just continues to flash thinking I am driving too fast.
In settings there is a toggle on/off switch for the overspeed alert. When I toggle it to off it immediately goes back to on. When I toggle the second time it stays off.
My garage said a software update should sort it but it hasn't.
Anyone had the same issue and is there a solution?

There is another similar recent thread on the forum ... can you turn it off permanently? I don't pay attention to flashing (not even sure it happens) but the audio warning bothered me quite a bit so I turned that off ...
