I have been having a problem whereby when I start the car and begin to manoevre it announces that there is "AVM System Failure" and I also receive a message on the app that says "The Park Distance Control Status of your vehicle is abnormal". What all this means in plain English is that the car does not beep when I'm about to hit something. At first I though it was one of the MG special software quirks we know and love, but it hasn't gone away, though, confusingly, sometimes it works. I suppose I wlll eventually have to bite the bullet and take it back to the dealer, but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar, or could otherwise shed light on the issue?
