PCP Voluntary Early Termination

I handed the car back and walked away. Took out a loan to buy the new MG5 SE.
The loan rates were better than the PCP option and the car is mine

That’s my thinking as well but will have to be patient for a few more months. Just a shame I’ll have to have the 3 year service and MoT done!

I'm 2 years into my 4 year PCP and the balloon payment is £10,944 , I checked my part ex value with Motorpoint and they offered me £10.276 . One I'm in the position ,I'll probably go down the VT route and walk away . I'm certainly not paying £11K for a car that'll only be worth ,and I'm guessing, about £7K in 2027

I've just ordered my next car through Octopus through my work. Thanks to Santander being sneaky, I can't VT, so my balloon payment is like £12.5k and the valuation is about £11.5k currently, so my plan is just to hand it back at the end and live with having it sitting for a bit (need some crossover as can't go without a car)
