PHEV heated steering wheel

Hi all, absolute newbie here and will be picking up our new Sterling silver HS Trophy phev in a couple of days. We are looking forward to our first new car experience and hope it turns out to be nearly trouble free but we expect those pesky gremlins will show themselves at some point.

Would anyone know if MG has any intentions of make the steering wheel heated on the phev as I know it's available on the new hybrid + models. I have asked our dealer but they weren't able to answer one way or another and seeing as there are some knowledgeable people on this forum I thought I'd ask here.

Hi @lovehandle, welcome to MGEVs, it surprises me that the new HS PHEV doesn't have the heated steering wheel, but I wouldn't expect it t be added any time soon.

Hi Lollipopman, thanks for the screenshot. I know the new Hybrid+ trophy comes with a heated steering wheel but the PHEV trophy definitely does not ( at the moment ). Maybe one-day they will add it but it is strange how it's included on the full hybrid and not the plug in.

Yes, I went from the zs hybrid+ that did have the heated steering wheel, i must admit up until this morning when I checked i honestly thought this had it, not to worry wondered what the pair of gloves was for that was in the boot!!!

A heated steering wheel is nice. But it's not the be all and end all. My X Power, is the 1st car I've ever had, with a HSW.
And to be honest, never missed one before. And wouldn't bother if it didn't have one. But yep, it is nice.

Absolutely agree, I to have never had one so I certainly won't miss it. Just don't understand MG's logic or lack there of why 2 HS Trophy's 1 with hsw and 1 without
