Am I right that the vehicle option is the a Custom Pilot option?
If not that will answer a lot.

Yes, once it's been set from the MG Pilot screen, from then on, you recall and set the saved settings by swiping down and confirming.

I've not seen this issue but it gets me wondering whether there's a realtime handshake with the servers in China before it's implemented?
