Plugshare on Android auto

Plugshare works fine on my phone, But the search function in android auto comes up with no results, and the map is very local probably only about 1km around my base, and can't be extended. the nearest charging station is 8km away, that the phone finds straight away but android auto comes up with nothing.
Is this a common bug, or have I done something wrong?

I know of Plugshare, but I don't use it.
How apps works in Android Auto is not related to the car.
You may get better support in a Plugshare forum or an Android Auto forum (but my bet is that a Plugshare forum is the best)

You are correct, plugshare was much better.
And their answer is that the problem is with A.A. that it severely restricts the function of Plugshare.
It only looks at the immediate vicinity of the current GPS location and the number of types of stations is also limited.
So don't try using plugshare on android auto.
