Poor map configuration

I was wondering if there is any update to the Map screen. I find it quite difficult when driving to see the road as it is a white road on a off white background. I'm used to the Peugeot screen where the road is black and easily seen. Ok when using the navigation it is blue so no problem.

Try Night (or Dark) mode, it may be easier for you.

Slide the screen across, select settings and it's the Ambient background setting, select "Dark"

Also, why do they have a long blue bar at the top of the screen while in navigation mode, in the direction of travel. It would be much better elsewhere on the screen so you can see further ahead.

Agree it's most infuriating pity it isn't at the bottom of screen as it past history as far as travel is concerned

I use Apple Carplay navigation, it saved me having to learn a new app and I can control it by chatting to Siri
