Having done a few trips on heritage line steam trains, I've decided that watching them pass is a far better experience than actually riding them. Riding in a carriage towed by a steam engine means viewing the countryside like in any other train while others outside enjoy seeing them in action.

Unfortunately watching them go past doesn't help with their upkeep.

We're having a great stay at Henty Lodge in the Ferguson Valley.
Granny charger plugged in to a GPO about 10m from the car.

It's a great B&B, it's got everything you could possibly need, very friendly owners.
Here's the main room.

Driving out this morning to Ferguson Falls winery for lunch

Henty Road runs along the scarp and has beautiful views to the coast.

Dot did the wine tasting thing.

We ordered, their best in Australia Pizzas

Obviously we'd started on them before remembering the pic.
Margarita in front and artichoke behind. After demolishing them we had coffee ice cream. Not much dinner tonight!
