Preheat / cooling A/C question

Used ismart today to try and cool the car prior to leaving for home. Heard the hvac running as I walked up to the car but it didn’t feel particularly cold when I got in and the 10 minutes was nearly up.

I’d driven early this morning when it was chillier and to eke out some miles, had turned the A/C compressor off. Didn’t turn it back on when parked.

The infotainment screen is blank when preheating so I can’t tell what the hvac is doing.

Does the A/C compressor get turned back on when setting a remote command or does the blower just go on?

I may get around to doing some unscientific temperature testing but wondered if anyone knew first? Thanks.

Try send temp to HVAC top right corner of the app. It will set itself to "auto".

I send 22c and it works a charm
