It's -30°C this morning and expected to drop even lower towards the end of the week. Yesterday when driving home at -24°C temperature, in the "Energy Consumption" screen the consumption was around 35kWh - 40kWh per 100km at all times. With ICE there's this trick to install a cardboard in front of radiator. Is there some similar trick for EV's to improve winter efficiency? The battery heater obviously can't keep up with the cold when driving.

That sounds like something worth trying to prevent the battery from freezing to death. Hopefully there will be no issues with warranty should something go wrong...got to be prepared for everything.

Edit: I blocked the grills and saw no improvement whatsoever after driving 30 kilometres. Instead the side windows got so misty I could barely see through.
