I’m really interested in the SOH (if that’s correct) condition of battery as with over 15000 miles completed have I lost any battery capacity / degradation?

That's the one I bought.
It's in the car which wife has taken to work, so can't check anything at the moment.
Mine works though.
I put photos of the box it came in with the boxes ticked on it in an earlier post, check if the one you got was the same.

Finally got it working after uninstalling software and trying again. Works with or without being in ready mode.

Was there something weird going on to cause them to do the "Jan 21" update twice?

It's all in the spreadsheet now so you can compare bits to others.

I was getting reduced power 25% with 16% SOC remaining on a very small incline and MG asked the dealer to update this again, hence the 2nd BMS update but still the same, albeit slightly better when we had +10c could get a whooping 40%. Needless to say this issue is under investigation by MG

Hmm.....you have a new SCU version that hasn't been seen before - 194136858 C0812

Could you have a "special" version MG tech support asked them to install. Sounds obvious (as it's **EU1) but I wonder if it is a version normally installed in continental europe?

You haven't got the battery heater option now have you (through infotainment system)?

Re the App.

Car was on charge, I checked app and it said 87.2% SoC, when looked at the dash 2 minutes later it said 93% SoC.

BTW. From inside the house.
I press the fob unlock button, that kicks car into life, can connect app & it refreshes etc, then car auto locks itself again as door hasn't been opened. Don't need to go outside

I guess you're going to be visiting the dealer again to try to get more than 40% power!
Maybe they'll install ***EU2 next time !!!!!!?!?!?
If you could try to ask them about it it'd be interesting, not so sure they'd probably know much though if anything like most of them.

I doubt the dealer even knows what's going on they just install whatever MG technicians in China decide.

It's not Bluetooth ...it's WiFi...don't think it will work with the app.
Some run both Bluetooth and WiFi...but doesn't like like this one does.
