Put Parking Brake in service mode

I don't think that there's an owner accessible way of doing this but I'd hazard a guess that it would be possible to disconnect and apply a voltage to the parking motor directly. What I don't know is whether any logic relating to brake limits is contained in the brake assembly or external control unit.

Put the car into Neutral N. You will need to put something on the drivers seat to switch on the seat sensor and exit through the passenger door.

I think this is the way:
1 keep drivers door an bonnet open
2 press start 2 times without pressing the brake pedal, this activates the hv battery fail message
3 turn off the hand brake
4 disconnect the 12v battery minus cable (this prevents the brakes from moving when working)
5 use a 9v batttery for rewinding the caliper engine (no need for 12v, 9v is ok)
6 Press in the caliper
7 do your brake repair stuff..

After:
Reconnect everything, brakes, battery, cabels and turn on the hand brake.
