Radio completely unresponsive

The radio on my 2022 SE SR has become completely unresponsive. When I press a button it appears to change station or between DAB/FM but nothing plays through the speakers.

When the system boots up it comes up as 'synchronization succeeded' as normal and about 30 seconds later flashes up 'USB disk identification failure' - there is no disk in either socket!

I am sure it has frozen and locked onto radio stations that are about 100 miles from home as it did this on Sunday and when I was back down there yesterday it started playing again but as soon as I leave that transmitter region it stops working.

Before I get on to the dealer has anyone had this or have any suggestions? I was thinking of disconnecting the 12v battery but suspect that won't help as that won't reset anything.

Have you tried rebooting the infotainment screen by holding down the Home button for several seconds?

Well if it needs changing or fixing they can update it to R33 when they do it ?

That sounds like the DAB radio firmware needs re-flashing. It's a separate box to the main infotainment system.

It's connected internally via a USB connection so if it's not working right that would explain the USB disk message.

I had this issue until I was upgraded to R40
