What sort of mileage are you talking about?
I presume the rear tyres were original, so now 30,000 miles - so I can't really complain. They are also cracking, so will get them changed - car is four years old. What sort of mileage are you talking about?
Just been noted by the garage at service, on my PFL MG5. No heavy loads in the back .......... oh yes! The dog 40kg!
Rotating the tyres might be the best option. It is recommended for safety that Tyres should be changed after 5 years use, no matter what the tread wear shows.
Anyone else had uneven wear on the rears tyres of their MG5?
That makes sense! Thanks. Still think the car is cracking!Had the issue very noticeably on my first MG5 but I had been carrying heavy loads in the boot and you could actualy see the wheels angled inwards at the top. I moved the load forwards and the next set of tyrees were better but still wore more on the inside edge. I put it down to the car not having its suspension upgraded to account for the battery weight.
