Replaced Wireless Mat with MagSafe Stand

The MagSafe stuck down & holds the perfectly in place, looks very clean when phone is on stand, blends into the dash.

I was never going to use the wireless mat because it’s not secure and I have to plug in anyway for CarPlay.

Happy, and no phone going flying ?

I'm tempted to do something similar, Magsafe is far more secure.

Now that is a good idea, I might use my Apple Magsafe Charger but unplug the wireless mat first.

Aha, I always plug in, because if I need CarPlay, it’s usually a long journey so need to be charging,

Otherwise, phone just stays in my pocket and it’s local!

But if I find I do need it, I’ll look into it

With just a cable it can move around, it’s still not secure on the mat.

Absolutely cannot move. It’s rock solid.

Wire has plenty of slack, there’s no tension on it as the phone is being held there.
