No, just gets on with it. What you should do is unpair the phone bluetooth etc. When it starts up it makes the Wi-Fi start and then all works if you have gps on the phone on. Music plays, Android Auto start and all is good.

My guess would be the dongle simply doesn’t time out like most others seem to do. So when the car is ready after about 30 seconds the dongle is still happy to connect.
