Can, and if so how, can I change the sat nav direction to always face North and not the true direction please. Ie so the ‘arrow‘ and direction of travel is facing north/up. mg5 Sr
I've no issues with AA, or I options of Waze, Google Maps, TomTom all work great with Google Maps also including EV charge pointsIt seems busa has an HS rather than a 5 so you might get a better response posting in the HS forum rather than here.
Having said that I got so frustrated with the built in 5 satnav that I gave up on it - the problem of the map always being in direction of travel upwards rather than north upwards being just one of the problems (except when you are in set-destination mode when you can tap the compass to get N up - but then you are getting a static map, not a moving one.).
Since the Android Auto app is so rubbish (very few apps work with it) if I really want a satnav I use the phone loose, but with bluetooth connected to get music and directions through the sound system.
Mostly I find the display in car a waste of space (and electricity) so have it switched off - which makes it displays the time in nice big numbers which is actually quite useful.
All work fine for me too and sygic sat nav.I've no issues with AA, or I options of Waze, Google Maps, TomTom all work great with Google Maps also including EV charge points
I've got a Long Range on order. Does the built in sat nav have any charge point functionality ie chargers on route etc, distance to next one etc?AA works perfectly on ours, but I still much prefer the car sat Nav to Google maps.
Sorry Didn't realise I had to stick to MG HS PHEV forum, I didn't pose the initial question, just asking for some advice, after all aren't all the satnavs the same?????It seems busa has an HS rather than a 5 so you might get a better response posting in the HS forum rather than here.

Different models will have extra/less options dependant on trim/car level.Sorry Didn't realise I had to stick to MG HS PHEV forum, I didn't pose the initial question, just asking for some advice, after all aren't all the satnavs the same?????
I tend to look at "what's new" I don't look to see what forum the post is on.
Amazing how someone can post something and the subject goes off at an angle, should we be correcting this in the future, what's the difference??
Depends how up to date the Sat nav is, as to which show and don't show.I have the MG5 SR and can confirm that it does have charge points included but maybe not all of them.
yes I understand that, but as you can see in Scimitargtc comment the pictures of the Sat Nav are exactly the same as mine.Different models will have extra/less options dependant on trim/car level.
