Schedule charging not working with MG ZS EV (22 plate)

Hi,

I’m just wondering if somebody may be able to help us, we have recently moved into a new property that has a Project EV wall charger already installed. The property is a new build and the charger is also brand new.

We can’t seem to get the schedule charging to work on my partners MG ZS. We are able to charge the car normally if we were to just plug in and start charging but as we are trying to take advantage of the night rates, we are wanting to charger the car over night.

In preparation, we have attempted to try and do a schedule charge within 10 minutes of plugging in (just to test it works) and it’s not accepting the schedule. We have tried on both the MG app and the Apex app but once the time hits the start of the schedule, nothing happens. What are we doing wrong?

We’ve followed many different suggestions on how to set both the apps up. We have attempted doing it on one or the other, both and through the car itself but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Hi, I would try removing all schedules in the car and just use the EVSE (charge point) app.
Then try putting the EVSE in fast mode and setting one schedule on the car.
