Ok. It's just that in the owner's manual I have, it states on p129 that it has air bags in the outer sides of the seats and on p134 it says not to fit seat covers.

So there I was, fixated on getting a set of quality seat covers with orange stitch for mine…… To quote the manual “…….Therefore, please DO NOT fit seat covers which may affect side airbag deployment”
Has anyone since found somewhere to potentially source quality seat covers to meet this need? Noting the quote from the manual “…which MAY affect…“

For me, the stars would align if I could fit well trimmed, air bag friendly seat covers without extra padding etc (the seats are as good as could be as far as I’m concerned) to suit 2023 right hand drive Essence 64 (Trophy In English?) with electric drivers seat, manual passenger seat.

I know @Rolfe got a set of seat covers, I think from AliExpress, and I believe they came with side splits to accommodate side airbags.

Problem is the car will have never been air bag tested with any seat cover, never mind ones claimed to be compliant so you will never know whether you have compromised occupant safety until an accident actually occurs.
