Should I have iSMART in my 73-plate HS PHEV Trophy?

Hi Guys,
I was trying to find the iSMART binding QR code in my car but couldn’t see it anywhere. I checked online and it says the HS PHEV Trophy 2023 should have iSMART binding capability.
Does anyone know if the November 2023 HS PHEV Trophy actually supports iSMART or not?
And if it doesn't, is there another way to bind the car with the app?

Bad news you may have a car registered in 2023 but the car in older and has the older software and hardware so you do not have the smart system.
You probably got the sun roof and electric closing boot.

No, I don't have sunroof but electric closing boot. It was first registered in 27/11/23 by MG Headoffice.

It’s not the one I was thinking of, but the car is older than the registration date probably made late 22 or early 23 before the faced lift which they changed to the hardware and software which is now installed in all MG. I had a 21 plate but was built in late 20 so know this car inside out.

Mine’s the facelift version — the front grille design has changed, along with the headlight pattern and the rear indicator style. The older version had a sweeping indicator effect (from inside to out), but mine just has the standard static blinking ones, which look a bit boring in comparison.

P.S: I was particularly looking for trophy thinking that this is the top of the range. but found out it was wrong choice. no sunroof. rear turning lights are standard lights, and now found out no binding option for iSMART as well.

Thank you I can confirm from that it’s the older software and hardware, from memory they did a small face lift took the sunroof away to keep the price down and changed the grille and small change to the window information screen but did not charge the system to what’s fitted to all MG have now with the ISmart. They did change it later on to bring them up same standard but yours not one of them.
