Since I changed the blinkers to LED DAB fades away

Hello,

Does anyone have the same experience with this, since I changed the rear blinkers to LED the DAB fades away when I use the left blinker ..... when the blinker is back off DAB comes back to normal playing...

After a quick Google I found this:

Low-voltage LED lamps can sometimes cause interference to both DAB and FM reception. This tends to happen when LED lamps are used to replace 12v halogen lamps but the original transformer is retained.

Where I live I have quite a long unlit drive which I like to reverse down. Doing this with the standard reversing bulbs was quite a challenge until I swapped them for LED bulbs, now it lights the way nicely. I also did the indicators too whilst I was there and also found the DAB interference. To solve this I applied ferrite core clips to the cables as they come out of the bulbs holders, along the cabling and where they enter as a loom, by the connector. Now no more EMI with DAB when I Indicate. It's a bit fiddly when putting the lights back in place when done, but do-able.
