Solar pv and battery charging

Have recently installed solar pv and FoxESS battery storage system. Also recommended to switch to Octopus Go for the 5p night time tariff.
Was told you can also charge up the battery as well as car during this tariff (12.30am - 4.30am). However, the overnight charge to the battery
did not work last night although the provider said it had been switched on. Does anyone use the FoxCloud app who can advise? Thanks

To be more specific what's the difference between the options on the app: "enable force charge" and "enable charge from grid". The instructions in operating the system are not clear. Thanks.
