With a break in the weather decided to give the car a wash and whilst preparing everything the car was sitting there with the DRLs illuminated . The front right (from the inside) remained cool to the touch, but the left hand side was quite warm on the upper segment of the LEDs whilst the other segments were cool. Is there some other electrical component in this area which would produce heat or has anyone any other explanation? I'd moved the car into the shade 10 mins earlier, but this heat was in a very specific area and before that the whole car was in the sun.

Not that I've noticed ... when I've had my car preheating on a frosty morning I've still had to scrape both headlights equally.
