Hi all

Every now and then (sometimes every day, sometimes only once now and then) the left hand switch on the steering wheel will lose its function (ie be reset to no function) and I have to go into convenience in the menu and reset it. Anyone else have this issue?

Mine has previously done that, but only maybe 3 times in the past year. My dealer thought that reapplying the BCM software update should resolve such an issue.

As it happens I got 1100R38 at my 2nd service on Thursday, and the star buttons retained their configs through the update. (Other items were reset and had to be redone, like radio favourites. Details are in my 1100R38 thread).

That seems like wishful thinking to me, unless it perhaps prompts the update process to re-check dependencies. But surely there are easier ways to do that.
