Sunroof shade not closing fully

Hi All

Lately due to the hot weather I started using the sunroof a bit more (the panoramic roof) and now the shade won't shut fully. Like leaving 4 or 5 inches from fully closed.

I cannot see anything obstructing it from closing.

Any ideas before i take it to the dealers? Mine is 2022

Is the sun roof fully closed?

The sun blind leaves the gap you mention to stop air pressure damaging it when the "tilt" function of the sunroof is used.

The sun Roof is fully closed. Just the shade isn't.

It might be work operating the tilt mechanism a couple of times to see if it clears the fault.

I didn't realise my ZS had a tilt function built into the opening switch until I discovered it by accident!

Reset the sunshade as follows.

To carry out the sunshade initialisation operation: Fully close the sunshade- slide the close switch forward to the 2nd position and hold in position for 10 seconds. The sunshade will open a preset amount and stop, it will then close automatically- the sunshade is then initiailised. During the whole process, the switch must remain in the 2nd position.
