I'm having trouble finding a matching paint to fix a little park scratch on my Andes Grey car. (Camden Grey in UK, Ash Grey on asian regions)
MG dealers don't provide neither touchup pens or colors.
Stores there in Italy doesn't provide products compatibile with MG4.
I tried some chinese brand from Aliexpress, but color is much more clear and not matching at all.
I ended ordering the color to a paintmaker, at high price and no guarantee for the final result.

Someone else is experimenting a similar trouble?

I just wanted something not too bad looking to stop rust and paint peeling around the damaged area.

I used PaintNuts - it's a perfect match on all touch ups I've done so far (Camden Grey).

Not sure if they deliver to Italy though 😊

My Aliexpress touch up was way off in colour match too 😒

Same... Aliexpress one looks more like silver.
I didn't even waxed it because I want to remove it and try the one I ordered from Crop, in Netherland.
Nobody in Italy was able to deliver 5PAG color

Do you have automotive paint suppliers near you? I got a small touch up bottle mixed up. Took the apprentice about 10 minutes to put all the "tinters" in it and shake it up. But it was a perfect match.

You can try one of this guy's methods if feeling confident.

One Finger Method...
My issue is no supplier around me managed to get 5PAG color.
I ordered a small bottle from online supplier, but delivery makes price skyrocket.

I used them too.

The place I used didn't use a paint code. They had some sort of scanner that they waved over the car, and that seemed to tell them what was required. As I said, a perfect match.
I used Supercheap Auto a few years ago for some touch up stuff, they used paint codes and mixed it in the store, but it was a great match. Which place did you use?

I had to look up the name of the place (I just knew where it was, and they don't have a website)... "Premier Automotive Paints" on Beach Road, Malaga. All your needs and more, from touch ups through to spraypainting, and the bloke behind the counter doesn't mind giving you a rundown on how to do it. I overheard him giving some advice on respraying something.

I used Supercheap once before to get a white touch up for my wife's then Ford. They used the paint code as you mentioned, and the match was reasonable, although it seemed to have this bluish tone to the mix. I was amazed at what went into something that is basically fridge white - base white for the most part obviously, but it looked like some blue and grey as well.

I would have used Supercheap again for the MG, but I was led to believe their system didn't recognise the paint code. Too new, maybe?
