Traction control problems after software update.

After the software update, the traction control is really annoying. It doesn't give any power if you slip even a little. If you turn off the traction control, the engine power is completely cut off when you slip. When driving in deep snow, you need to get the tire to spin. How do I get the old traction control program back? The dealer says it's not possible.

I also tried removing the abs sensor, but no effect.

Does snow mode do anything to help? Although I’d suspect snow mode will mostly just limit torque

Traction control off, engine power is cut off completely. After a few seconds, power comes back. By then you are already stuck in the snow. Snow mode doesn't help, it's just a limited power mode.
