All tyres lose pressure over time. When the temperature drops then the pressure will drop accordingly. If then the temperature rises then so does the pressure. In the days before tpms , people didn't notice the changes in pressure so much , unless you were someone who regularly checked them. TPMS is a useful thing to have as it can pre warn you of a slow puncture before you may have otherwised noticed it. But you do have to expect warnings with a drop in temperature, this is normal.Hi All
We have had the same problem for last 10 months, some weeks the tyre loses pressure on a regular basis. especially in winter. In summer the tyre lasts for 3 months before it requires any air.
I have had the tyre sealed at 2 different garages, but same problem. on test, under water, no faults.
Yes it does lose pressure, Had new tyres fitted on rear still same fault been suggested posabley wheel fault.
Reported to dealers, been told to monitor.
Do you check the tyre pressures with a pressure gauge instead of relying on the readings from the car in case the wheels been swapped around at some stage. E.g. The front off-side sensor is sending the pressure to the rear off-side receiver so you are trying to fix the leak in the wrong tyre.Hi All
