Ouch !!!
Not my experience but interesting all the same.
Thanks, have done so.What car survey is still live. Please fill the survey to give a better stat to the market
Maybe not the result the poster was aiming forThanks, have done so.
Why not? Surely we want a true and accurate picture? I hope all the people who have had a trouble-free experience also complete the survey.Maybe not the result the poster was aiming for![]()
Totally agree but I got the impression the op was maybe looking for a more positive spin to be added and to help the result. Why not? Surely we want a true and accurate picture? I hope all the people who have had a trouble-free experience also complete the survey.
Yes, absolutely. I'd love to be in the small minority and if this survey showed that I'd accept it was my bad luck. But I have long suspected that a decent percentage of people get problems.Totally agree but I got the impression the op was maybe looking for a more positive spin to be added and to help the result.
It does however appear to be an accurate reflection of many people's experiences of dealing with MG UK and that is as it should be
The SE LFP car seems to be the sweet spot for the MG 4 and most reviews reflect that. The further up the range you go you seem to encounter more issues, especially with the poor operating system, The ER doesn't get mentioned that often but I think that reflects smaller sales figures.Oh and it is a shame this isn't broken down by trim, separating SE and Trophy and XPower owners etc... SE owners seem to get fewer problems generally.
i'm hoping once mines back on the road i'l have a similar experience, i want to love the car but so far its the software letting it downIve done 8,000 miles in my MG4 SE LR demonstrator over the last 4 months and not had a single issue or breakdown, currently on R33 headunit software, not had an issue with charging either
Agree, but, that doesn't sound as bad. And for me that's what they are after. ?Just breaking down the sample size against the number of cars MG have sold in the UK and you are looking at around 1% sample size for the brand and specifically the MG4.
So if you make the title of the article 1% of UK MG owners reported their car as unreliable it kind of puts a different spin on things.
Little point having a 7 year warranty if you, more often than not, fail to honour it and charge for the repair.
Genuinely shocked with the results and I must say, I think I swerved the right way when I cancelled my order. GL to all those souls still trying to get work done under "warranty".
