Used MG4 and iSmart Binding

We picked up an ex-demo MG4 Trophy at the weekend and had so much trouble trying to bind the MGiSmart app to the car. We read loads of posts on here and watched loads of YouTube videos but to no avail. The dealership salesmen couldn't help over the phone or with the video they emailed to me. I ended driving back to the dealership, after 4 days, and a brilliant mechanic realised straight away somebody else was already binded to the car. The salesman rang all of his colleagues and it turned out to be his boss who was still binded to my (demo) car! He unbinded and when we logged into the car we binded, as members on the forum, had described with the two QR codes. The moral of the story is to make sure you unbind on selling an MG (4) and make sure you connect to the app (and Android auto/AppleCar play - another story) before you leave the dealership with your used car!

It's the same with second hand EVSE units, make sure they have any account details removed as it can be tricky to get them done once it's on your wall.
