Wanted red but getting blue

Hi all, I ordered a red MG5 as my new company car and our fleet manager was contacted today saying that there would be a long wait for a red one and said that they were building them in Piccadilly blue for the next few months?‍. Anyway I’ve agreed to take a blue one but looking on the MG car builder the blue looks flat. Anybody that’s got one confirm if it’s a metallic?

None of them are bad colours and they are all the same on the inside!

I wanted silver but after 5 months waiting took a black one just to get it. That still took a month to arrive from ‘stock’.

In my case I wanted Blue but ended up with Silver after a wait of nearly 5 months.

I got the blue last November and it is definitely metallic. I also think it better matches the blue stripes inside.
