So the rear one you push from the top (or lift from the bottom), and the front one you push from the side ... ergo the FM is actually correct.

It can't be correct for both, because it says (for both) press one end, but one is pressed at the side, and one from the top, it doesn't matter anyway, because we now know exactly where to press for both.

Look at the image you yourself posted in your earlier reply.

Hmmm, yes, it shows them both the same, which they're not, in any case, for the back one, the manual should have said "press the top of the cover", because it's damn stiff, and if you don't know to press the top, you feel as if you're going to break it.

Just in case , make sure you beat the breakdown man to it , when removing them . You don't want some ham fisted know it all , " I've been in the trade 20 years " attacking them with a screwdriver .
