This symbol has appeared today - top left of photo. A white disc surrounded by a red circle. There's no reference to it in the owners manual.
Any ideas what it means?

That will (should) show the speed limit when your are driving.

The car currently doesn't know what the speed limit is so it shows 3 dashes. As soon as you pass a speed limit sign it will change to show what the speed limit is.
