Hi,
I have had my 5 for a month now and I am very impressed so far.
I have noticed there seems quite a big gap between the top of the wheel and the wheel arch.
Is this normal?
Thanks
Frank

They don't fill the arches that well but it is completely normal :)

Particularly on the LR. Much as I love the car, this is part of the compromise of converting an ICE to an EV, particularly the simple way of hanging a big battery underneath then having to raise the ride height to keep decent clearance to the road.

Hi
Yes it’s totally normal
But this guy in the Philippines has got it sorted but it is on a ICE car
😃👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

They guy from global tint commented that mine was sitting higher than previous mg5s he had tinted. The LRs have the ride height cranked up more than the SRs.

I wouldnt lower it, but larger diameter wheels with the same profile tyres would fill the void at the cost of some efficiency, without the risk if scraping your battery pack across a speed hump.
