Wheel bolt covers

After 4 weeks I don't think that wheel bolt covers should look this bad should they? And i have looked all over under the boot floor and can't find anywhere bolt cap removal tool. Anyone got any ideas?.

It's usually very close to the towing hook, probably worth another look?

Is that appearance the same on all the bolt caps? Have the wheels been cleaned with foaming wheel cleaner? I've seen the effects of some of these really powerful wheel cleaners, and if the bolt caps are plastic, then it pulls the colour out and stains the plastic.

I would have guessed so, because even the mg emblem is already damaged.

Looks like they've been sprayed with that shite, at those hand car washes.
