Windscreen washer freezing

I left my MG5 ev in freezing conditions at Glasgow Airport for two weeks. When I returned the screenwash was completely frozen. Because there is no heat from the engine we drove most of the 130 back to Aberdeen with no screen wash. Any advice?

The most obvious answer is to use the correct screen wash for the temperature. You can buy stuff that works below any temperature you'll ever see in Scotland.
Be careful to check it hasn't blown out any joints in the pipework.

Most of the cheap screen wash liquids work down to -5C if not diluted, Prestone do a -10C one.

Have always preferred the Prestone myself, even diluted it can go pretty low.

I use this one from Halfords. Since starting to use it I haven’t experienced any freezing of the washer bottle. And it does a very creditable job of cleaning the windscreen!
