Winterise Cyberster

As long as you keep it plugged in, I see no problem.. Not sure if the 12V will be charged when power is off, but in my opinion it should.

12V should charge okay, but only if NOT plugged in. Manual states:

Intelligent Charging
When the vehicle is powered OFF and the system detects that the 12V battery is running low, the vehicle will automatically charge the 12V battery under certain conditions to ensure the vehicle starts. This function will be automatically turned off upon completion of charging.
Note: The system will suspend intelligent charging if a fault is present when starting or when the vehicle is being charged by an external device.
Note: The driving range will be reduced after intelligent charging.
Note: The intelligent charging function is suspended when the high voltage battery is in a low SOC.

Personally if not being used at all for 5 to 6 months and assuming it's locked in a garage. I'd run it to between 40% to 50%, then disconnect the 12v battery negative. once disconnected, trickle charge the 12v for a few hours to 100%. Pump the tyres up to 50psi too, that will negate any risk of flat spots whilst sitting.

I thought I would reply to this as it could be relevant - I came to use my Cyberster on the 15th Feb and couldn't get access to the car, neither fob worked so I tried the app and that couldn't connect either.
I managed to get a charger on the 12vVbattery and this would not exceed 4.0V charging (starting at 1.8V). I then disconnected the battery and tried to charge it, after about 20 charger restarts it finally started to charge and 24hrs later it indicated full.
The last use of the car was 25th January with 89% state of charge and the car defiantly locked.

Its now waiting to go to MG - No holding out much hope!

Has anyone else experienced anything similar ?

I turned on the car yesterday for the first time in 2 months. The drive battery had dropped from 80% to 77% which I assume was the drive battery being used to top up the 12v when not in use. I had no problem opening the car and I put it back on charge to get back to 80%.

I plan to replace the 12v this year to one better than shipped from the factory.

I left my Cyberster for just over a month (15th Jan to 17Th Feb). Could not contact it via the app but opened normally when pressing the button on the door. The state of charge of the HV battery was left at around 80% before lay-up. This seemed to keep the 12v battery topped up during the lay-up. May be something wrong with the trickle charging from Hv to LV battery.
