Wireless Android Auto not working with CMF Phone 2 Pro

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a CMF Phone 2 Pro and I'm having trouble getting wireless Android Auto to work in my MG S5 (base model). When I try to connect wirelessly, I keep getting a connection error (image attached) and Android Auto doesn't launch. However, wired Android Auto works perfectly fine with the same phone.

I’ve already tried the usual fixes resetting Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, clearing Android Auto cache/data, re-pairing the phone, using Developer settings but no luck.

Is anyone else facing similar issues with the MG S5? Have you faced the same problem, or found a workaround for wireless Android Auto? Would appreciate any suggestions or tips!

Nope. Reported the issue to the service center and they said it's a Tbox issue and will replace it soon. They've ordered the parts but it has not arrived yet in Nepal.

Slightly OT but I'll be very interested to hear how successful your service centre is in making the new T-Box work with your S5!

Mine is currently at my dealer/service centre having a new T-Box fitted (though not for the same reason as yours) and they are having considerable difficulty in coding the box to the car, or vice versa. Many calls to and from MG UK Technical have, so far, failed to resolve the issue.

I'll keep you updated. Mine is getting fixed for the wireless android auto and laggy ismart App.
