Won't go into Park after R59 update

Not stopping at 80% is a software issue for which updates are available (had it on mine).

It does sound like your car needs to get a thorough update on all software first and then see if a hardware problem exists or if that fixes it.

According to the service sheet it has had "all 7 updates to HV battery and associated systems" but I have no way of telling all I know is that it now goes into Park but appears to have suffered a 2% drop in battery SOH in less than 6 months.
So I'm not entirely happy ATM.

Just in case it helps others, looks like this not a one off…. our 23 plate MG trophy went in today to have multiple faults fixed - many well known on the forum. It came back having had “everything updated to the latest version” - well aware that this isn’t necessarily what’s happened! Anyway it too has the same fault with the vehicle not going into park. Had R46 update. Back to the dealer! Looks like fixing some issues creates others again.
