Anyone tried to lower the suspension of the car? I saw this one (it's in spanish) but I'm not sure how good it is and to what limit it can get. Look at the edit below, it makes so much of a difference, the car looks sportier and even looks a bit longer.
I'm not sure if it's possible to get it THAT low though, and if it's possible to have adjustable suspension at that height.

Agree, that's too low. Coilovers can get your car very low, but too low, IMO.
H&R lowering springs are perfect, 30mm lowering all round, just right. 👌 And no need for new shocks, should in theory give slightly better handling because of stiffer springs and lower centre of gravity.
But let's face it, most folk, lower cars for aesthetic reasons. 🙂👍

You can just buy spring clamps if you want to lower or raise a car for looks without much work.

Used to be popular way of doing it but these days most people only think of lowered set of springs.

I did it with a friend years ago on his 1.3 Maestro! Worked fine but the clamps rusted quite badly after a year or so, and they also chipped the paint off the spring.
Funny looking back at some of the things we used to get up to when young.

My goal would be to have them be adjustable. Also are those clamps not extremely dangerous?

That looks a tad low to me 🤔
But have a look here.

I wanna go LOWER hahaha, I think that's the best for daily driving but if adjustable is possible i'd love to go as low as possible. Obviously it's not ideal for daily driving just for the sake of the battery which is on the floor

I would not daily drive on them on a heavy modern car ,. and the MG has really strong springs...

But to play around just to test out different ride heights or take some photos they may provide some fun.

No way! would I use those! They don't seem much better than sawing a bit off.
😉🙂👍

How much do you wanna spend! What about Air Bags. Decent lowering when driving, and slammed to the floor when parked up. 😉🙂👍

I have done that also.. lol.

Lowered springs for a Daihatsu GTti...yet the rears seemed no different to standard. So angle grinder the top coil off...was fine. Spring was still tight in the cups when car jacked up.

Sounds interesting, do you reckon these would work? they're made for the 2WD version

edit: link didn't get attached

WOW! Not cheap and I'm presuming fitting on top of that. I would think the adjustment is excellent from a nice low but drivable stance, for every day use. To slammed when parked up. Depends on what you want to spend. Springs are cheapest for a nice stance. Coilovers for a bit lower and Bags for lowest. 🙂👍
