Year 2 Service Cost?

Hello Everyone!

I appreciate previous 2nd Year Service experiences but I know things can be in flux to change.

I’ve booked a 2nd Year Service and was quoted £271 ?

This seems a little high to me, what was the cost for others and where did you get it done? (I’m in the North West of England).

I have an XPOWER and can’t find what’s included in the Year 2 either?

Brake fluid change every 2 years ? seems excessive, but I wouldn't complain.

Mine just cost £240.00 for the trophy long range and included Brake fluid change, pollen filter and the AA Renewal, which i assume is part of he price.

I paid £399 for a service plan for 3x services plus first MOT, so I can't say what the individual service prices would have been.

When I asked for quote for my 2nd service back in march, I was quoted £145, when I booked the service in June I was quoted £175 not happy with the escalating prices I went on the main dealers website (Desira MG of Diss) and used their online form to ask what the actual price will be. A couple of days later I had a phone call from Desira apologising for the mix up and the actual price for the service will be £98 as my car has only done about 16k miles I qualify for the low mileage rate. The service is booked in for tomorrow 8th August and they have an online check in system, and when I checked in yesterday it stated on the paperwork that the cost would be £98 seems like a bargain compared to some prices quoted on here, will post tomorrow how much I have to pay.

Might have to drive from Manchester to Norfolk if it’s almost 3X cheaper!

Dropped the car in at 8.15 done by 11ish service completed no problems minus the key fob batteries which I changed a couple of weeks ago, also told them I had problems with the heater controls poorly calibrated and to fix it they updated the infotainment software from R13 to R40 also I have the model with the poor quality spoiler(dull finish) and they've taken some pics and will let me know if they get permission to change it under warranty. All for £89 (low mileage service)
