Using the data in previous post we can see when the existing orders will be delivered/Registered.
We know that at the end of March there was 1232 facelift models registered.
We know that orders for ZS EV are in excess of 35,000 units - and this does not account for any orders for the non sunroof models.
The deliveries coming through at the moment are mainly stock orders made by dealers in November. There are still loads of cars outstanding from November/December deliveries.
I have projected how the backlog is going to be cleared with the following delivery rates:-
400 units per month ( The average to date with the chip shortage)
600 units per month ( The most ZS EV’s that have ever been delivered.
1200 units per month ( Well you can dream)
Using 400 per month - all the orders before Xmas will be completed by Q3 2025.
Using the best rate that have been produced of 600 per month the orders before Xmas will be completed by mid 2024, the orders up to March this year will be completed by the end of 2026.
So if we dream that 1200 ZS EV’s per month will be supplied then all orders before Xmas will be completed by April next year and the orders before March will be completed in the middle of 2024.
In order to satisfy all the orders from before March by March 2023 they need to average 2500 ZS EV’s per month.
When will the current ZS EV be updated. I am guessing before all the existing orders are delivered?
