MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

Im sure they do them in colour batches I got mine on Monday monument silver like a lot of other in the last 2 weeks , you will love it brilliant car.
I got my blue one with a lot of other people on here in September. Definately a batch of blues on a ship.

All new cars I’ve owned I always buy a boot liner to save the boot shelve from getting filthy & wet.
This year I bought a very cheap mat liner on a roll from THE Range shop for £7.99 which I stored for months until my car came.
Recently I was in Home Bargins shop and seen exactly the same one for £3.99.
Once open I was really impressed with it for the money, it was to wide so cut it with a sharp pair of scissors, left it a little bit wider so went up the edge slightly.
its done a great job and saved me at least £30 to £40
For some reason it won’t let me post photographs to show you in my car, , never had issue before will ask my daughter to try and sort it and post later.

Trophy LR in monument silver.
Business lease ordered 02/02/2022.
ETA pushed from 01/05/2022 to 08/08/2022 to 22/11/2022 to 13/12/2022. Starting to consider cancelling but received a call saying the car had arrived at the dealer 06/12/2022 and is available for delivery from 12/12/2022. Hopefully taking delivery next Friday, 16/12/2022.
I hope it was worth the wait.
Sure it will be, but be prepared for glitches along the way. I had a new 12v battery on my 5 after about 6 months, failed on the roadside, not instantly I was attempting to get back to the garage. My dealer (always think that phrase sounds a bit iffy don’t you 😱) was fantastic, came out to meet me with a new car which I drove around for about a month till they sorted it, actually turn out not to be the battery but some sort of brain they had to wait for. I guess the moral of the story is make sure you have a good dealer 🧐

Managed to upload photographs boot liner £3.99 Home Bargins Store

Just a little sign of the fact that these cars have been sat around a while before being actually shipped (other than mine having a build date of early June and and arriving in late November): the car came delivered with a completed faded red 7 year warranty sticker - that rear window has been sat in the sun for a long time.

Yes my brother in laws car was exactly the same , mine didn’t have a sticker when delivered.

My 2020 was had the same white sticker when I got it July 2020.

Had an update from my provider today. Not good. Will likely cancel and go for something else.

"MG have told us into the new year now! To be honest with how disorganised and poor communication they are, I would warn ECS customers it could be as late as March"

Shocking customer service from MG really! Was originally expecting by 28th Nov. Currently driving a 1991 Mazda MX-5 Convertible - not good in the ice and snow!! Was happy to do a few extra weeks whilst I waited for the MG, but alas. Time to move on to a different car I think.

Hi all. Only ordered my LRT in Silver late August 2022.... delivery scheduled for early July 2023. It's a work fleet hire but the dealer is Perry's

Got to make my Kio Rio diesel last until then, but by the way things are sounding in this thread it may be longer :(

Take heart in the fact you're starting off with a more realistic delivery time, rather than the 3-4 months a lot of us were given. For many it's been a year, but there are others who've gotten theirs sooner - you might be lucky!

6 months for me so i think its just pot luck if your order is longer than others. I did have to change colour from blue to silver but that never bothered me anyway. Private order though.

If going new, then I think most cars have very long lead times.

Ordered my MG ZS EV Trophy Connect Long Range on 11 January 2022 at Masters MG in Croydon. Was told to expect delivery in March. Dealership closed in April and was moved to Glyn Hopkin. Started receiving monthly calls with updates, this stopped in September. Now being told to expect delivery in February 2023. I have escalated with the dealership and MG but getting nothing back. Is this typical, any tips on how to address this? Was thinking of forgetting it but I am worried I will get a similar experience elsewhere. Thoughts?

I should have this on auto reply :(

Give new car discount a call

Then tell masters/Glyn Hopkin to shove it up where the sun dont shine
