I've still been told that the scheduled delivery was March but that was pushed back to April for orders made in December !

Well yes, my December 14th order says April 30th delivery. I still believe it will be sooner though.

Ordered ZS LR Jan 15th from Arnold Clark in Glasgow and told delivery April 25th and heard nothing from them since.

I ordered the long range ZS trophy connect in mid-November for delivery 14th March and the dealership have just told me that delivery will now be May.

Spoke to Mg Chorley (Chorley) today he said 80 cars have been brought forward so looking promising. I ordered a LR beginning of November. Was originally told March then May . He said he didn’t have any more info but that hopefully mine was in the 80

Interesting that they may be being released in batches of around 80. I ordered my LR Trophy at the end of November and so doubt that it is in this initial batch.

I ordered my mg hs exclusive hybrid on the 7th oct told delivery would be end of January still no definite delivery date fed up now especially as I have no car

Originally I was advised March but I’m not hopeful of that anymore.

I’m honestly not sure anyone is getting in reliable information, just a bunch of different excuses because they just don’t know.

Cars are definitely coming in, but unfortunately for now most will go to dealers as demonstrators. A lot of orders should be fulfilled by end of April.

See the recent Podast. Those waiting for new shape ZS SR and ZS LR could be disappointed I'm afraid, as from memory there are only about 600 cars (500/100 respectively) in total in 11,000 arriving by end of Feb.

I wonder how these dealers are surviving with no new cars to sell or even fixed dates for delivery. Cash is king in the car business. Maybe above average sales and below average deliveries is something they can handle financially. Their overheads are pretty much fixed, will be interesting to see what happens in 6 months time.

That crossed my mind too. The guy I bought through said that everyone was frustrated at his branch, and that they didn't get paid till the car was delivered to the customer. Bigger dealers, like Arnold Clark up here in Scotland, must be relying on the volume of second hand sales to keep them going.

Long range exclusive version but not the new 2022 model if that's the one you mean.
