Ordered MG ZS EV LR Silver through Vanarama (Greenhous Fleet are the dealer) on November 19th.

Dissapointed to find out from MG that the order wasn't received by them until January 26th!

I've reached out to both Vanarama and Greenhous for answers...

That's interesting. How were you able to map a specific dealer order to yourself. I just assumed vanarama would be continuously putting in bulk orders.

I got my MG order number from Greenhous

Most leasing companies dont actually bulk order, they do some pre purchasing, but almost always through an existing Dealer network.
My TC LR order through octopusEV is a factory build dealer order. Haven't managed to get the name of the dealer yet though...

As for people asking about the sunroof issue, can’t really see how MG can sell you a car you didn’t order, it would be like your dealership ringing to say your car is here and you turn up to collect it and it’s an MG5…when you ordered a ZS EV…they must satisfy all outstanding orders before they change to the non-sunroof cars..I still think there making a big mistake stopping the sunroof, it was one of the reasons I went for the ZS EV…can’t see me buying another MG going forward..

Great positive news - More LR cars actually arriving and people who ordered last year are getting cars.

Looks like the MG UK plan to supply oldest orders first is slowly working.

Nice, when did you order? Seems like a wick turn around!

Ordered 27th may 2022. Went to their experience launch and was told some versions were in build for August delivery. Configured car and sent to dealer who contacted me and gave me the availability on selection, had to go for heat pump for earlier delivery or wait another couple of months for non heat pump. MG has left a sour taste and have been waiting a long time for a new car, know how a couple of months can soon turn into nearly a year.

That's good news I also ordered from Chorley, same spec on the 11 Nov 21. So hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.

If you ordered the same spec from the same dealer a few weeks earlier then why aren't you getting yours first?

Jeez, when I see November orders slowly coming through... makes me seriously question if I want to wait for my order placed in MAY haha. Gen 4 will be out by the time mine rocks up !

Well I haven’t got mine and when I popped into the dealership, it wasn’t even showed as built and I ordered it way back in December (17th) so still think it’s a hit and miss…ZS EV LR. Trophy..

I ordered a lease,

white, zs ev se long range

ordered 10/5/22, (was told batch pre-ordered December 2021)

the last update from them is delivery due in September 2022, but looking at the shipping updates, won't hold my breath eh!

rgw vehicle contracts

I did ask and they didn't tell me the supplying dealer, apparently, there isn't one, I was told it's a fleet and just assigned a dealer when arrives in the uk?!

Is there anyone on here who did get the grant when ordering from car2 barnsley...

Not getting the grant, don't think anyone will, they said they had 28 people affected who must all be pre Dec 14th orders. I have a made a Freedom of Information request to the DfT asking whether there's an application in my name, just to be sure.
The guy I spoke to last at cars2 was still trying to blag that they'd have honoured the £1000 drop in December, had to put me on hold for a minute or so when I pointed out the car wasn't eligible after the grant qualification drop to £32k and was remarkably more willing to to a deal thereafter. The deal they've offered is actually ok, possibly partly funded by an increase in the value of my trade-in, although I am awaiting confirmation on one of the points in the quote. Obviously unsure whether to trust them though.
Yours was due today wasn't it, did you go through with the purchase?

Just read back through the posts since Monday - 6 people are getting LR cars ordered last year. 2 people have been told not TBA and vehicle is built. 1 person getting SR car ordered in March.
That is a bit of progress this week?
On this forum we represent best guess 5% of people who have ordered MG’s. Doing the calc - over 100 people have been told getting cars within next week.

I ordered via rgw, in December 21. Still waiting. They didn't have any pre-ordered, they simply said they would sell x amount. They have been terrible for updates. I have received 2 emails from them since December. All other correspondence have been me chasing them for updates.

Doe's that mean there's only 97.5 % of customers disappointed not to get the call this week ?

Picking my New MG ZS Blue Trophy Connect Long Range Tomorrow 24th June. Ordered on early Dec. 2021.

Got the original Chorley group deal and original 2500 grant.

I did called my local dealer first and they wasn't keen and told me to contact them in the new year.
If I did listen to them, would have lost the 2500 grant, longer delay delivery and pay more from the new year price increase the car had.

The Chorley sale Daniel has been super, kept me updated of delivery throughout the year, answered all my question. Hand over tomorrow and I am excited.

Wanted the longer range because no home charger but I do now have workplace charging. Would enjoy the preheat in the winter, hopefully better infotainment system plus....

Ditto we picked our Silver Trophy LR up on Tuesday. As you said Daniel has been great throughout. I cant recommend him and Chorley MG Burnley enough for buying your car as this is the second ZS EV we have had from them. And thanks to @Miles Roberts CG as well.

That's telling us nothing about the order.

I ordered an SR in January for example, and if someone is getting an SR they ordered in March now, that suggests it is way more disordered.
